FYE Librarians
FYE librarians are "on-site" librarians, allowing them to work closely with faculty to address course needs. The library also recognizes the increasing role of technology in education and research, so the librarian plays an integral role in virtual library instruction including innovative instructional support creating research guides, accessing learning management software, and utilizing other online and mobile tools. In their synthesis seminars, all FYE students will complete a search activity designed by the librarians to introduce students to searching for discipline specific sources and evaluating their appropriateness.
